LeeBet Casino Review

We at casinoaustraliaonline.net have reviewed numerous crypto casinos over the years, most of which have only been referred to as such because they’ll primarily let you deposit with Bitcoin or other similar currencies. However, every once in a while, we’ll come across a site that is so intimately tied to the blockchain that it literally could not exist without it – a true crypto casino.

LeeBet is one such site, with its defining feature being not the fact that you can deposit in your favorite crypto, but that you can earn it while playing. Win or lose, you’ll still be accumulating crypto, so ultimately you’ll always win! Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, that’s what we thought too.

So, for your peace of mind (as well as our own), we decided to thoroughly explore LeeBet Casino and examine every tiny bit of it, head to toe. We looked at its games, bonuses, features, and, of course, its promise of crypto profits, and then compiled our findings into a big and comprehensive review, just for you!

Before we truly dive into it, however, it’s important to note that the site is still in development, and has a planned out roadmap for the future. We’re reviewing it in Q3 2023, and can only tell you what is present here on that date. The roadmap on the site claims that many new features will be added in 2024, so it is possible that our review will become outdated. We do plan on coming back to LeeBet and re-reviewing it at a later date, given its ever-changing nature, but for now, just keep in mind that we’re reviewing it as we see it, nothing more, nothing less!

LeeBet Casino Review Australia

Bonuses

LeeBet Casino doesn’t currently offer any bonuses in the traditional sense. You won’t be able to, say, deposit 10 USDT and then claim a 150% match on them as part of your welcome bonus – these types of features are simply not available here. Instead, the casino relies solely on its crypto program to satisfy the needs of bonus aficionados.

Here’s how it works – every wager of $0.01 or more will bring you a certain amount of tokens in LeeBet’s own cryptocurrency, $LEE. You can, of course, sell those tokens for a certain price, just like you can any other cryptocurrency. However, by holding them instead, you’ll be able to gain a percentage of LeeBet Casino’s earnings.

The more $LEE you’re holding onto, the bigger your cut of the pie will be, up to 4% – and that cut will be paid out to you in USDT, which you can sell or use to play games, thus gaining even more $LEE tokens that you can convert into more USDT, and so on and so forth. It almost sounds like an infinite money glitch, doesn’t it? In fact, you could probably invest in $LEE directly and thus immediately get access to a cut in that pie! Whoever said crypto can’t be profitable?

Except… We’d advise you not to do that. Alas, the offer is, in fact, too good to be true, and it’s too similar to fraudulent casinos we’ve already reviewed and dismissed. What you’re seeing here is commonly referred to as a “pump-and-dump scheme”. For those unaware of the term, this happens when a company or individual has their own crypto currency that they then encourage other people to invest into with the promise of huge profits.

This is what’s known as a “pump” – LeeBet control how much $LEE can be mined by players (for example, they could change it to require bets of $0.05 or bigger instead of $0.01), and by encouraging them to hold the currency as opposed to selling it, the price of $LEE will artificially increase. What players don’t suspect is that the majority of $LEE tokens that currently exist are being held by LeeBet themselves, not by any player.

This means that, as players are holding the currency and increasing their value, they’re giving LeeBet a chance to sell off their stock of it (a move that’s known as a “dump”), thus cashing out and raking immense profits at the expense of players who are now left holding a completely worthless coin. We’ve seen the same thing happen many times before, and while we can’t prove that this is what LeeBet is trying to do, it’s only logical.

Games

Just like with its bonuses, LeeBet Casino handles its games a little differently. Instead of being able to play pokies or enjoy live casino blackjack, you’ll just be limited to a small selection of crypto titles developed by LeeBet themselves. While they have included “1,000+ pokies” as part of their roadmap, this has not yet happened, and we have no evidence that it will.

Instead, you’ll just have to be content with dice, keno, plinko, limbo, coin flip and wheel – that’s all the games that are available as of the time of writing. While LeeBet Casino’s landing page promises one new game added every month, we can’t make any promises that the casino will actually stick to it, especially given the fact that said schedule is fairly recent and subject to change.

LeeBet Casino Games Australia

So, what are the games like, anyway? Honestly… Rather unsatisfactory. Ask yourself this: would you really go to an online casino and wager real money to play Coin Flip? We can accept games like that when they’re just a small part of a much bigger selection, when that’s ⅙ of your entire collection of games, and the rest of them are just titles like a basic wheel game or dice, then that’s probably not enough to keep most people engaged.

LeeBet Casino has promised to add pokies in the future, but at the same time, we’ve seen no mentions of blackjack, roulette, baccarat and other similar titles being added. This would make LeeBet Casino one of the very few sites we’ve reviewed on our site that doesn’t actually offer any casino games besides keno. It’s borderline absurd.

Let’s face it – the creators of LeeBet Casino didn’t set out to make some kind of fun site that can provide you with hours of entertainment. They set out to make a crypto scheme. The games are secondary. They might as well have replaced the games with a single button that has a 50% chance of giving you a $LEE token every time you pay a cent to press it.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Oh, boy. How do we even talk about the LeeBet Casino payment options? Just look at the table below! The casino has pretty much nothing!

For starters, this is one of those sites where there are no set maximum or minimum withdrawals – instead, it’s the casino itself that decides on a case by case basis for each transaction. The idea is that this would give players more flexibility, but realistically, we’ve found that in most cases it just gives the casino the excuse to deny withdrawals without providing an explanation.

LeeBet Casino Payment Methods

We already knew that no traditional currencies were supported (LeeBet is, after all, a crypto casino), but what about the cryptos on display? Well, they’re a bit of a mixed bag. Naturally, you’ll see a lot of the big, famous coins represented (like Bitcoin, Tether and Ethereum), but a few of them are conspicuously absent (like Dogecoin, Ripple or Litecoin).

In turn, LeeBet Casino supports a few coins that are extremely niche, and which, frankly, we could have gone without – a few of them we’ve honestly never even seen before. Under normal circumstances, a crypto casino offering support for weird and obscure cryptos would’ve been a huge positive, but not at the expense of more popular coins.

Withdrawal time

The good news about crypto withdrawals is that the majority of them are lightning-fast. Sure, a few of them have a reputation for being more sluggish than is acceptable (like Bitcoin), but even they won’t take more than a few hours to complete a transaction. This means that, theoretically, you should receive your money very, very soon after your withdrawal request has been approved.

We say “theoretically” because, practically, you might lose a few days until Lee Casino actually performs the transaction. Sadly, we were not able to find an exact estimate from Lee themselves about how long it takes them to process withdrawals, but most casinos take about 2-4 days to do so. With a crypto withdrawal, this will be where the bulk of your wait time will be. If you received confirmation that your withdrawal has been dispatched, yet the money is still not in your crypto wallet, something may have gone wrong.

VIP Program

As of the time of writing, LeeBet Casino does not have a dedicated VIP program. This is something that is currently part of their roadmap, but alas, we are unable to confirm whether it’ll actually come to pass, as we left our crystal ball in our other pants. Even if it came to pass, though, it’s impossible to say what form this VIP program would take and whether it’d be worth engaging with at all.

With that said, LeeBet Casino already has a form of VIP program, in that the more you wager, the more $LEE tokens you’ll receive, and in turn, the bigger the percentage of winnings you’ll snatch up. In theory, this very much sounds like a loyalty initiative to us, even if the casino itself disagrees and claims that the true VIP program is still on the horizon.

Tournaments

It shouldn’t be particularly surprising that LeeBet Casino doesn’t have any tournaments on offer – after all, it doesn’t even have pokies! Under normal circumstances, a tournament would encompass a group of pokies (usually grouped by provider or theme) that you’d then need to win at in order to climb a leaderboard and earn even more prizes. However, that clearly can’t happen when, you know, there aren’t any pokies to group for a tournament.

While LeeBet Casino has an extensive roadmap that covers the next year and change (as of the time of writing), that roadmap makes no mention at all of tournaments. As such, it is impossible to determine whether they’re planned for the future at all or not. Even if they are, it won’t be for a long time, so if you’re someone who is anxious to get into one, you should just look for casinos that already have them.

Verification

Unfortunately, we have no information on whether LeeBet Casino requires its players to verify their identity or not. Under normal circumstances, nearly every single online casino in the world (naturally, including those that operate in Australia) would require its players to undergo a verification procedure before they can withdraw anything. This involves submitting a number of documents to the casino’s staff in order to prove that the personal information inputted upon registration was accurate.

This verification procedure is imposed upon the casinos by the payment providers they work with, such as Visa or MasterCard. As such, some crypto casinos have found ways to get out of verification by simply not working with these financial institutions and instead relying solely on crypto deposits and withdrawals. This describes LeeBet Casino perfectly, but even so, some crypto casinos will still verify their players’ identities just for the sake of staying safe.

We have gone over the LeeBet Casino terms of service thoroughly, and while they have a section dedicated to safety and money laundering (which is what verification is intended to prevent), that mention makes no mention of KYC procedures – only of monitoring transactions and reporting suspicious activity. As such, it is impossible to determine whether you’ll need to verify yourself before your first withdrawal.

Is LeeBet Casino Legit & safe?

To put it simply – no, we do not believe that LeeBet Casino is safe, or legit. Although the reasons for that are a little bit complicated. For starters – it’s important to note that, as of the time of writing, LeeBet Casino does not have a valid iGaming license. This is something that has been described in the roadmap and is to be added at a later date, but why an online casino is launching without one of its most essential elements is anyone’s guess.

The other, and far more pressing matter, is that LeeBet Casino shows clear signs of being a “pump and dump” scheme that is trying to get its users to mine, and then hold, their own crypto – $LEE. We’ve gone at length about this in the Promotions section of our review above, so we’d like to direct you there if you haven’t checked it out already. However, the short and sweet of it is that LeeBet very likely exists not to provide players with an actual casino experience, but to allow its owners to profit from selling crypto that has been inflated in value by players.

Customer support

Given how thoroughly unfinished the rest of LeeBet Casino is, it really shouldn’t come as any surprise at all that the site barely has a functional support feature at all. For starters, there isn’t any live chat you can trigger, which is just absurd. In all our years of running casinoaustraliaonline.net, we’ve almost never seen an online casino that won’t even let you use live chat to submit a ticket or chat with a bot or something! The feature is just not there in any shape or form!

We don’t even need to mention that things like phone support are a fantasy as well. The only way you can contact LeeBet Casino in case you have some questions or need assistance with your account is by using e-mail, which can be a bit unreliable – unfortunately, far too many casinos will either not reply at all to e-mails or do so with great delays. That’s why live chat exists, or at least, that’s why it should. Will LeeBet Casino add it in the future? Only time will tell.

Mobile casino

It goes without saying that most people who participate in online casinos will want to do so through their phones rather than their desktop computers. As such, it’s essential for LeeBet Casino to provide players with a great mobile platform – and, to their credit, it does.

In no small part, this is due to the site being clearly made for mobile first and desktop second. As such, it can be a bit awkward to use on desktop, since all of the buttons and elements are far too big than they need to be. In exchange, everything feels much better on a mobile phone’s smaller screen, and the interface overal feels a lot more intuitive.

Another thing that mobile players would likely be quite happy to learn is that you won’t need to download an app in order to participate at LeeBet from your mobile device. Instead, the site works just fine from your mobile browser, which in turn will help reduce clutter and the chance of a potential security issue, especially if you aren’t a fan of installing unknown apps on your device.

Conclusion

Conclusion

We don’t often like to tell our players whether they should or shouldn’t participate in a particular site, but in this case, the answer is quite obvious: do not sign up for LeeBet Casino. We get it, the promise it’s making is extremely tempting, who doesn’t want to get free, guaranteed money from an online casino even when your bets are losing? After all, that’s an investment rather than gambling, right?

However, the truth is that in the future, it’s extremely likely that the creators of LeeBet Casino will simply cash out their share of $LEE tokens and shutter the casino with little warning, and there’s nothing you can do about it – especially given that they’re an unknown company. We’ve seen it happen before, and make no mistake, as long as there are people who believe in easy crypto profits, we’ll see it happen again.

But even if the casino was perfectly legitimate, even if it was a genuinely good financial investment… Ultimately, not everyone wants to invest. Most of us just want to play some fun games – sure, the idea of winning is part of the appeal, but it’s not the main appeal. And there is very little fun to be had at LeeBet Casino, considering its unfinished site and barely present, boring games.
