Welcome Bonus – 77% Match up to $30,000

In general, it is difficult to talk about welcome bonuses in a vacuum – we need a baseline to compare to. How would you know if a bonus is big or not if you don’t have another one you can use as a measuring stick? And if you compare the CryptoWins welcome offer to traditional online casinos, then it’s just… okay.

The casino claims that you’ll be getting here is a 77% match up to 1 Bitcoin, but that’s not quite true. If you read the fine print, what you’ll actually be getting is a max bonus of $30,000, which is a very respectable bonus even though most traditional online casinos will give you at least a 100% match (and we feel even that’s too low). Not quite what is being advertised, but also not too bad, right? However, if you compare against crypto casinos, many of which will also give you up to 1 BTC, but at a much higher bonus (200%-350%), CryptoWins’ most important offering no longer impresses.

Still, if you decide to claim the bonus, be aware of the terms and conditions. You’ll need a minimum deposit of at least $5, and then you’ll need to wager through your bonus amount x35 times within 10 days before you can withdraw anything. You’ll also have a maximum cash-out of $30,000, and you’ll only have access to a very limited amount of games to spend your bonus on. Last, but not least, you’ll have to use the bonus code “WELCOME1” or forfeit your bonus. That’s a whole lot of conditions for a rather mediocre bonus, wouldn’t you say?

Additional Welcome Bonuses

What makes the disappointing first deposit bonus even more perplexing is that it’s actually not the only one. Once you claim it, you’ll have access to a few more bonuses, such as a second deposit bonus of 107% match up to $30,000. It’s already a bit perplexing why the second deposit offer is so much higher than the first, but the truly interesting one is the third deposit bonus.

In addition to a 127% match up to $30,000, you’ll also receive a $77 free bet chip. So, assuming that you deposit $10, you’ll receive $12.70 in bonus funds, as well as $77 in free bets. While the welcome bonus package was more of a miss than a hit, once you’ve used it, you’ll have access to a bunch of reload offers that you can claim regularly. The most notable one can be claimed every Wednesday, up to twice for the day. If you make a deposit of at least $50, you’ll receive a 37% match, and if you increase that to 200%, you’ll grab a 77% match. These aren’t terrible bonuses, especially given that they can be made repeatedly – and they’re unlimited, to boot! Just remember that you need to use the bonus code “Reload” before putting down any money.

On top of that, you’ll receive a weekly cashback bonus based on your losses. This isn’t tied to the VIP program (which we’ll discuss later), but instead to your losses. The more losses you’ve gained in one week, from Monday to Monday, the bigger percentage of those losses you’ll get back as bonus cash. Confused? Let us help you visualize it with a table:

So, let’s say that you lost $50 in total for the week. You’ll be eligible for a 4% cashback, which means you’ll receive $2 in cashback the following Monday. That $2 will need to be wagered through once, just like all deposits, but after that it can be withdrawn without further requirements.

While the bonuses of CryptoWins Casino were a mixed bag, there’s nothing mixed about their games: they’re a disappointment no matter how you slice it. The selection of pokies is extremely small, which is something we’ll get into later. But on top of that, the casino has no live dealer titles whatsoever, barely any table games, oh… and forget about anything else.

Well, technically yes, but the selection for whose is very limited – just blackjack, baccarat, roulette, one version of sic bo, and… Heads or tails?! Well, we sure are glad they included this staple of the casino world instead of craps or dragon tiger!

Deposits & Withdrawals

It should come as no surprise that CryptoWins Casino is a crypto casino – but it may be a little startling to see just how few crypto currencies it supports. Don’t get us wrong: most of the big ones are supported, such as Bitcoin or Tether. This isn’t some grand complaint where we genuinely feel like there aren’t enough ways to deposit. But the appeal of crypto casinos is that there should be way more deposit and withdrawal options, and there are plenty of popular coins (such as Doge, Shiba, or Solara) that are inexplicably absent.

Beyond that, both the minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts are pretty reasonable. You’ll be able to join the fun for as little as $5, which is more than acceptable, and the minimum withdrawal of $25 isn’t particularly egregious, either.

Withdrawal time

Not everybody likes crypto, but no one can deny that it has one massive advantage to traditional currencies: it’s really, really fast! While bank transfers can take days to get processed, most crypto coins are basically instant. If you withdraw using Ethereum, for example, it’ll take between a few seconds and a few minutes for your dispatched winnings to make their way into your crypto wallet.

Granted, there are a few slower coins, like Bitcoin, but even they won’t usually take more than an hour to fully process your transaction. Of course, we’re referring for the time it’ll take for the payment to be processed over the blockchain, from crypto wallet to crypto wallet. If you then decide to sell your crypto and get the money into your bank account, that will take a few days’ worth of additional wait time.

VIP Program

Just like all the best crypto casinos, CryptoWins boasts its very own VIP program… but you won’t get to learn much about it from its dedicated page. Indeed, when you go to access it, you’ll just see a bunch of generic statements about how it rewards players and what not, but no information about how you can get into it, or how to level up or, really, how any of it works in practical terms.

The closest we found was a claim saying, quote: “Entry into this VIP Club is by invitation only. The more you play our casino games, the closer you will be to receiving VIP status.” Okay, fair enough, but what does that mean? Do you accumulate points for betting, like in other sites? Confused, we reached out to support, and (eventually) got a response: there is no answer. CryptoWins Casino decides purely arbitrarily who gets to progress through their VIP program.

If you place a ton of bets very regularly, and someone from the casino staff notices you, you might be invited to join the VIP program. Or you might not be. Who knows? Needless to say, this is completely unacceptable. If a casino is just playing favorites instead of having tangible parameters that decide who gets into the VIP program and who doesn’t, there might as well not be a VIP program at all!

Tournaments

Tournaments have become an inseparable part of the experience at many online casinos – which makes sense, given the fact that pokies have existed for decades, and people have been looking for new and interesting ways to interact with them. There are a few signs you can examine to determine whether an online casino is legit, and one of them is to look at its license. Most online casinos we review have a Curacao license, which is just about the most basic one you can find. It’s the Margherita pizza of casino licenses: basic, but it gets the job done. CryptoWins Casino, however, has chosen to put pineapple on their pizza instead by opting for a license from Comoros.

In theory, this license is very similar to Curacao, with the most notable difference being that Comoros bans casinos from accepting cash transactions – which, in theory, makes the license a good fit for crypto casinos like CryptoWins.

In practice, however, there isn’t really a reliable way to confirm whether a site truly does have a Comoros license. We’re not saying that CryptoWins doesn’t, but all in all, we find it very suspicious that they have chosen a Comoros license instead of the significantly easier to verify Curacao. What is their motivation for this if they have nothing to hide?

Customer support

You can contact the support team in two different ways. The first one is via live chat which can be accessed 24/7 from most pages on the casino. Unfortunately, during our testing we found this option to be rather lacking, as the support representative didn’t give us too many answers that were actually useful.

We had a lot more success with just sending an e-mail, and while we had to wait a few hours for the response, we were able to learn a lot more from it than from live chat. As such, unless you’re actively struggling for time and need your issue addressed ASAP, we recommend skipping live chat altogether and simply mailing them. Pretend like it’s 2007 and embedded live chat doesn’t exist or something!

Mobile casino

While we have overall felt a little mixed on CryptoWins Casino, there is one thing that we can’t deny: their mobile version is pretty good. Admittedly, it’s nothing mindblowingly amazing, it won’t make you swear off the desktop version if that’s how you prefer to play. But it’s clear that a lot of work has gone into making sure that it’s not only compatible on a lot of different devices, but that it also looks great on a considerably smaller screen.

Of course, a big part of that is purely because of the overall popularity of mobile casinos – it’s clear even from looking at the desktop version of CryptoWins that several design elements were created with mobile in mind. However, that doesn’t at all discount the fact that, on mobile, the site is quick, snappy, intuitive, and most of all, functional. From grabbing bonuses to placing bets, there is nothing you can do on desktop that you can’t do on mobile. Top marks! If only the rest of the site was this good, perhaps our review of it would have been more positive.
