Well, okay, we aren’t actually sure whether Almabet Casino is located in Turkey, but it’s certainly aimed at a Turkish audience, complete with the Turkish lira being the only currency available and most of the payment options being only available in Turkey. But hey, the casino does accept Australians, and you know we’re going to go wherever we can, even if we weren’t directly invited!

So, is this a site that’s going to satisfy the needs of Aussies, or should it have never opened its doors outside of Turkey?

Bonuses

Here comes the first bit of really, really bad news regarding Almabet Casino: it doesn’t seem to be offering any kind of bonuses whatsoever. You won’t get a no deposit bonus, a welcome bonus, any reload bonuses, a VIP program, not even tournaments. Absolutely nothing at all.

Now, in the interest of fairness, we must point out that we’re reviewing Almabet Casino very shortly after its international launch, so it’s very possible that it will still offer some promotions at some point in the future. However, we can’t review the casino “at some point in the future”, we’re reviewing it right now, and the facts remain that they have made the mind-boggling decision to launch without even a welcome bonus. Which is worth all the criticism that it gets.

The silver lining is that at least the infrastructure to put these features in place in the future is there. Both a promotions page and (rather interestingly) a tournaments page are present on Almabet Casino’s website, they’re simply empty at the moment. And they shouldn’t be.

If the bonuses of Almabet Casino were non-existent, then their games are the exact opposite – there are so many of them around that it’s enough to make your head spin! The diversity of types is honestly very impressive, and the more time we spent exploring the various games on offer, the more we felt like we were falling in love! Granted, not all areas of the site are as good as others, but we’re very happy to report that the focus of Almabet Casino has clearly fallen on, well, the casino games – and they’re stellar!

This is just as frustrating as it is baffling, since the casino site actually offers a tournaments section that is very easily accessible through its main page. The only problem is that said tournaments section is completely empty.

This could be a sign that at least some tournaments are planned to take place in the future. Maybe Almabet Casino is just waiting for more players to join, so that there would be a larger player pool – it’s boring to compete against opponents that don’t present a challenge, right? Of course, this is just pure speculation on our part, and one that isn’t particularly well supported by any information available at the casino. Ultimately, all we can do is wait and hope, while staring a profoundly empty tournaments section.

Verification

Despite the fact that players outside of Turkey can only play at Almabet Casino using crypto, they’ll still need to verify their identity before they’re allowed to make a single withdrawal. This is done to prevent money laundering, and while some crypto casinos choose not to take any measures to verify their players, Almabet clearly isn’t among them, which we consider to be a good thing. After all, this process (as annoying as it may be) helps keep players safe.

Customer support

Let’s pull the band-aid right off: Almabet Casino does not have any customer support features as of the time of writing.

No, we’re not being facetious and making some joke about how their support is so bad it might as well not exist. It, quite literally, does not exist. While the casino has a “Contact Us” page, said page is currently empty. You can’t use live chat, you can’t join a weird Telegram channel, you can’t even send a simple e-mail. There is nothing.

This is completely unacceptable no matter how we slice it. There is simply no excuse for any online casino, new or old, to be launching without a support feature. What happens when there’s a bug and your deposit isn’t reflected in your account? What happens when you try to withdraw, but can’t? Nothing, you’ve just wasted your money. Who would even want to risk it like that?

Mobile Casino

Based on our review up until this point, you may be under the assumption that we hate everything about Almabet Casino – which isn’t true. Case in point: their mobile version is genuinely great, and built with an attention to detail that we wish was present in the entire rest of the site.

Just like with most online casinos, you can access the mobile variant by simply opening the site in your mobile browser of choice. However, if you’re an Android user, you’ll also have the ability to download and install a dedicated app to your phone. To be fair, that app is pretty much just a standalone version of the site (or at least we didn’t find any substantial differences during our testing). But it’s still cool to see this available as an option at all, especially since not a ton of casinos actually offer it.
