No deposit bonuses are extremely rare for modern online casinos, and at first, we didn’t think that Limewin offered one, either – it’s certainly not mentioned anywhere in the promotions page! However, while investigating the site, we came across a curious passage in its terms of service which speaks at length about how, once you create your account, you’re eligible to receive some free spins. Granted, this promotion isn’t available to a huge list of countries, but Australia isn’t among them, so we can only assume it applies to us despite not being publicly listed!

Contacting the support team for clarification, we were told that yes, this promotion is valid, but the amount of free spins and the game they can be used on will depend “on various factors” and will be personalized for each player. The common denominator here is that you’ll need to play through your winnings from them x50 times to withdraw them, and even then, you can only make that withdrawal if you make a deposit of at least AU$30. Not exactly the most generous offer, but hey, we’re glad there is a no deposit bonus at all!

Welcome Bonus – 100% Match up to AU$500 + 50 Free Spins

But the no deposit bonus, as nice as it is to have, will only get you so far. It’s the welcome bonus, the one that you’ll receive alongside your first deposit, which will make or break the experience for a lot of people… and sadly, we can see more people going into the ‘break’ category. Because although Limewin has an entire welcome package that will grant you two separate bonuses, neither of them are really good.

Your first deposit will net you a 100% match up to AU$500, which, although a decent number in and of itself, seems a little too low for such an important bonus. Typically, casinos that choose to have a relatively small cash bonus for their welcome offer will make it up with a ton of free spins, but over at Limewin, you’ll only get a mere 50 of them, in two batches of 25.

As for the second deposit bonus, that one’s significantly more pathetic. This one will give you just 50% match up to AU$150, alongside 25 free spins – it’s literally worse than the first deposit offer in every way. It’d be okay as a reload promotion, something you can claim every week or so, but as a one-time “hey, welcome to the site, have this on us”-type deal, it’s downright insulting.

We can’t even say that the wagering requirements are the saving grace of these bonuses because they really aren’t. The cash bonus will need to be wagered x40 times, and the free spins winnings, a whopping x50! That’s insanity! These are some of the highest requirements we’ve ever seen, and they’ll practically ensure that even this hilariously small bonus will not be withdrawn no matter how hard you try!

Reload Promotions at Limewin Casino

Granted, the welcome package of Limewin wasn’t anything special, but that’s okay – after all, these bonuses are ones you can only claim once! It’s the reload offers, the ones you can claim over and over again, that really matter… right? Well, even if you believe that, we’re afraid to say that this casino’s welcome offers are just as bad as the welcome package.

You’ll get two separate reload offers here, one on Wednesday and one on Sunday. The Wednesday one will grant you 50 free spins, for a deposit of at least AU$40 of course – which, again, is a very high threshold, especially since many other casino sites will give you more spins for a smaller deposit. As for the Sunday deal, that’ll give you a 50% match up to AU$100, alongside 25 free spins, again for a minimum deposit of AU$40. These things are subjective, sure, but personally, we can’t see ourselves taking advantage of either of these promos.

Okay, so as we’ve established, Limewin’s bonuses aren’t anything to write home about – but never mind that! What matters here aren’t the bonuses, but the games you’ll be playing! Will they be enough to keep you coming back? Well… No, probably not. Sadly, Limewin’s collection of pokies and live dealer titles is pretty scarce, as we’ll discuss further on in their own sections. Normally, we’d expect such a casino to make up for its lack of titles with an expansive sportsbook, or something else that brings value instead of the pokies, but Limewin doesn’t have those things either. So far, we’ve been pretty disappointed with Limewin and its features – but surprisingly, its payment options are actually pretty decent! We say ‘surprisingly’ because, at a glance, there really aren’t a lot of payment options available here – in total, you’ll have access to a mere nine methods. That’s usually just how many e-wallets are supported at other casinos, without taking into account other payment types!

But, once we looked at what’s actually available, we realized that the selection is pretty decent. There’s Visa, MasterCard and bank transfer, of course, but also Skrill, Astropay, and Mifinity on the e-wallet front. You can even use Neosurf! Finally, on the crypto side of things you can deposit via Bitcoin and Tether. Admittedly, not the greatest diversity of payment options out there, but they get the job done.

Besides those, another thing we really liked were the withdrawal limits. You only need to make AU$10 to withdraw (it’s the same number as the minimum deposit, and a very reasonable one at that). However, the maximum withdrawals are extremely high, up to AU$4,000 per day and AU$50,000 per month. Those are some very high numbers which, let’s face it, ensure that you’ll always be able to withdraw your winnings no matter how much you win!

Withdrawal time

Before we start discussing individual payment methods, let’s talk more broadly about how the withdrawal process at Limewin works. Once you make your withdrawal request, the casino will take a few days to ensure all bets made that contributed to your winnings were legitimate. You may also need to go through verification at that stage, which we’ll talk about a little bit later. Once everything has been handled, the money will finally be dispatched. This will take about 3-4 days.

Limewin doesn’t have a ton of features – in fact, its VIP program is one of the very few under its belt. As such, it’s clear that they wnated to focus quite a lot on it, which they did, as the VIP program is fairly extensive, with ten levels and multiple different ways to earn rewards.

Here’s how it works: for every AU$25 you wager on pokies you’ll earn one point. Once you earn a certain amount of points, you’ll ‘level up’, unlocking a one-time reward (for example, AU$5 for reaching the first level and accumulating 50 points). But these points aren’t strictly an “XP bar” for leveling-up. They can also be redeemed – starting at level 5, you gain the ability to convert them at a rate of AU$1 per 200 points. These rates do not improve as you level up.

Right now, you might be looking at the numbers and wondering “hang on, something doesn’t feel right here.” And you’d be absolutely right: both the rewards and the conversion rates are ridiculous. Getting AU$5 for placing AU$1,250 in bets is absolutely ridiculous, and so is converting AU$5,000 into AU$1. What’s more, any bonus you get, regardless of whether it’s a one-time level-up reward or a conversion of points, has to be played through x3 times to be withdrawn. If the intention of this program is to make loyal players feel like VIPs, it’s not working.

Tournaments

Sadly, Limewin Casino doesn’t currently have any tournaments. When we said earlier that the VIP program is one of the very few features it has available, tournaments were one of the things whose absence we had in mind. Admittedly, these newer online casinos tend to be ever-changing, so there’s always the chance that this feature will be added down the line. We wouldn’t hold our breath, though.

If you’ve ended up in a sticky situation, it’s best to contact Limewin’s support team. You can do so in two different ways: via live chat (accessed through the small, green icon in the bottom right corner of every page) and via email (accessed through, well, your email). Generally, live chat is intended for lower-level inquiries, while email (which is much slower and typically manned by senior staff) is intended for more complex issues.

We used the live chat for the purposes of our testing, and the results were… okay. We connected to an agent relatively quickly, but had to wait a few minutes for our messages to be answered. Which they were, though the quality of those answers varied. Like we mentioned back at the very beginning of the review, when we asked about the no deposit bonus Limewin offers, we weren’t given a lot of useful answers – not even the amount of free spins you get!
